It is one of our main concerns to meet the demanding requirements of the Austrian environmental seal of approval "Umweltzeichen Tourismus". So we are doing all we can to manage our hotel in an economical and ecological way. A few years ago we installed a 600 sqm solar power installation for the in-house production of hot water. Together with an up-to-date heating system we have managed to reduce our expenditure on energy, thus minimising environmental impacts. Moreover, we take pride in our (drinking) water which is treated with the Grander technology, making redundant the use of chemicals in the heating system etc.

It goes without saying that for our breakfast buffet we use exclusively reusable packaging and make an effort to optimise acquisition logistics. As a matter of course we use environmentally friendly detergents, and specially trained staff sorts garbage in order to ensure its recycling.
